A decade after their debut release, The Melody And The Energetic Nature Of Volume, EVANS BLUE has just released their 5th studio album with long-time producer Trevor Kustiak, titled Letters From The Dead.  The album is now available through all major digital outlets and through the band's merch store (link above) as a physical CD.  The first single "iGod" is receiving early airplay on SiriusXM Octane, and the album already has over a quarter of a million streams on Spotify.  New lyric videos are up on the Evans|Blue YouTube channel at www.youtube.com/evansblue

As with each of their albums, EVANS BLUE's sound has evolved once again –  Letters From The Dead is definitely heavier –  but it still holds true to the band's melodic core sound that was created a decade ago.  Lyrically, singer Dan Chandler tapped into deep-seated, raw emotion for the new single.  "’iGod’ depicts our failure to recognize or consider a perspective other than our own," Chandler relates, "To suggest or assume our ideas take priority over someone else's only promotes conflict between two people who are very much the same otherwise."

When asked about the new album, Chandler elaborates, “Letters From The Dead  is possibly the most aggressive Evans Blue album to date, but the message is not one of anger; it is the realization of our own mistaken identity. When it's all said and done, how much of our lives did we live replaying the past or writing tomorrow before waking up to the idea that the only thing that truly exists is now?”

Four years have passed since the band last released new music, but Chandler credits their passionate and dedicated fans, the E|B Nation, for the band’s continued positive, forward momentum, “I feel like I have a lot of people backing me up and supporting where we’re headed as a band.”  New fans all over the world continue to share and discover the music every day, as evidenced by solid continued sales, over 15,000,000 recent Spotify streams and tens of millions of YouTube views.

The band will play a show for The Buzz in Houston on July 30th with Shinedown and Halestorm, ,and more tour details are coming soon... #EBnation
